I’m Emily Mahaney, and I am an award-winning editorial leader, who has worked across digital, newsletter, video, branded content, and live media/events. I am an Editorial Director at Yahoo. Previously, I was the Chief Content Officer for Katie Couric Media and the Features Director for Glamour — and named a Rising Star on Folio’s Top Women in Media list. I love to create world-class storytelling products that address the issues of our time with talented teams. I have also consulted for a range of major brands. I grew up in rural Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University, and live in Brooklyn, NY.
