Live Journalism

In the 2010s, every magazine editor loved an event. They were a cornerstone of a magazine’s brand marketing. While at Glamour in 2017, the Editor in Chief asked me to lead content for our Women of the Year summit. A very fun assignment, btw, which sparked a whole track of work for me. As brands invested in event-driven marketing — and media upstarts launched commercial events businesses — I regularly found myself getting called with offers to lead programming for this summit or that one.
